“THE HEART OF GOD IN THE HEART OF A NATION” – A STRATEGIC PLACE
Located in the political, religious and economic centre of the Nation in front of the National Congress (Parliament). The CNO (spanish acronym) opened its doors in September 2002, and for the first time in the history of Argentina, the Evangelical Church obtained a permanent presence in the Plaza de Mayo, the spot where the most important happenings that have marked the history of the nation since its founding have taken place. After 6 years, in 2008, God took us to establish our office in front of the National Congress without losing the importance of remaining in a strategic place.
The main objective of the Centre is to have a remaining impact throughout the country, grounded in the prayers of committed intercessors in the events that affect the different areas of our society (family, education, healthcare, communications media, the arts, sports, the church and the government), as well as influencing society in all aspects, including high-end political functionaries.
The CNO has realized several events of impact within the city:
- Prayer vigils in the Plaza de Mayo.
- Prayer in front of the Courts
- Act of Prayer in the City Legislature with respects to a project pushing a sex-end law contrary to God’s principles.
- Numerous prayer times in front of the House of the Government.
- Pastoral gathering for prayer and Holy Communion in front of the National Parliament during confrontations between the government and farmers.
The CNO office is free to visit and is open to the public Monday through Friday, from 10a.m. to 6p.m.
